Ice Cream #2: Mr Lemon Cheesecake

Time and location: 10:30am, Royal Botanic Gardens- The Terrace. My first time exploring the Botanic Gardens and Shrine of Remembrance.

Our ice cream flavours: Lemon cheesecake for both of us.

Reviews of ice cream flavours: Not my normal choice but very delicious on a hot sunny day.

Review of ice cream parlour: It was a little ice cream cart by the lake in the gardens so nice location but expensive and it was ice cream rather than gelato. I paid for the ice cream after he had paid for the coffees.

Quality of chat: Very good, we spoke about his interest in history and cycling, our next travel destinations, family, tattoos, nature and life in Australia (particularly the laziness of Australians).

Appearance: Smartly dressed, good first impressions. He even admitted to deliberately wearing trousers because of his grandpa’s old fashioned idea that you could never turn up to a date in shorts, even on a 28oC sunny day in Australia.

And after the ice cream: No hug or anything, not the right vibe.

Meet again: Probably not, good interesting chat but no spark for being more than friends.
